Hi, I’m Kehua Lei
I am a PhD student in Computational Media at the Baskin School of Engineering at UC Santa Cruz. I work with Dr. David Lee at the Tech4Good Lab. My research areas include Human-Computer Interaction, Computer-Supported Cooperative Work, and Social Computing. I’m interested in designing conversational interfaces for large-scale online communication. In particular, I use qualitative and mixed-methods research approaches to build text-based systems for large-scale mentorship.
Prior to beginning my PhD study, I received my master’s degree in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University, where my researcher areas were multimedia and interaction design. Previously I eared a B.S. degree in Industrial Design at Hunan University.
